Our programs are designed to promote an appreciation for the game of golf, good sportsmanship, safety, rules, dress code, fundamentals, etiquette, and to promote respect for our golf course and Club facilities. Our programs provide quality instruction and the development of a wholesome interest in the game of golf.
General Club Rules for Junior Golfers
- Juniors 12 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult while on the practice areas or golf course.
- Juniors 13 years or older may walk the course at regularly designated walking times after registering with the Pro Shop.
- Juniors 17 or younger with a USGA handicap of 20 or less may play on weekends or holidays before 12:00 p.m.
- In order to operate or rent a cart, a valid driver’s license (not a permit) must be presented to the Pro Shop and Starter.
Objectives
- To instill in our Junior members the qualities of sportsmanship and etiquette that make the game of golf great.
- To foster attitudes of appreciation and respect for the sport that will remain with them into adulthood.
- To offer a fun and entertaining environment in which kids can grow and develop social interaction skills while gaining a foundation in golf that will always be beneficial to them.
Eligibility
The program is designed for children and/or grandchildren of Indian Hills Country Club Golf Members who will turn six years old on or before September 1 of the current program year.
