Zach brings over 25 years of experience in the golf industry where he has been the General Manager, Director of Golf and is also a Class A Member of the PGA of America for 21 years. Zach graduated from The College of the Desert with a degree in Golf Management and won the New England PGA Professional of the year in 2016.

Danielle Short
Danielle started with us in 2009 as an Assistant Golf Pro and started as our Office Manager in 2021. She is from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and loves spending time with her family and friends in her free time.

Matt Mead
Matt joined Indian Hills Country Club in 2011 and brings over 15 years of Club experience in Membership sales, Tournament sales, and Golf Operations. He graduated from Valdosta State University with a Communications degree.

Tom Jones
A native of Decatur, Georgia and a proud University of South Alabama graduate, Tom Jones joined the IHCC team in 2018, following over 20 years of restaurant and country club experience. One of his most memorable experiences was giving Mick Jagger and then-wife Jerry Hall tennis lessons for two months while Jagger shot a movie in Atlanta. All of this time in the industry has burnished his service philosophy, which is to “put your best foot forward at all times, and treat Members, guests and your fellow employees the way you would expect to be treated. Outside the Club, He and his wife, Carolyn, enjoy traveling and eating (naturally), and rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs, the Miami Dolphins, and the Oakland Athletics.

William Benton
William brings over 30 years of hospitality experience in the private club industry from Ansley Golf Club, Chattahoochee Golf Club, Country Club of Columbus, Golf Club of Georgia and the 1818 Club. He also served as General Manager of the historic Paschal’s Restaurant in Atlanta. William is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in business at Strayer University. William lives in NW Atlanta with his two daughters Saanya and Kennedi.

Patrick Shell
Patrick graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Mass Communication. He has been with the club since 2011, and came to us with 11 years of experience in the tennis industry. Patrick has a "Professional" rating of certification through the USPTR.

Erin Watkins
Erin has a Bachelors Degree from Marquette University where she was a 4 year starter on the Tennis team. Erin also has her Masters in Business from Clark Atlanta University with over 8 years of teaching experience.

Josh Styles
Josh joined Indian Hills Country Club in 2005. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Turf Grass Management. He came to us with 2 and a half years of experience in the golf industry.

Frank Lyda
Frank, originally from Youngstown, Ohio, came to us from Plantation Golf and Country Club in Florida. He wants to bring a different level of maintenance to IHCC with strong attention to detail and sound agronomic practices for a healthy turf.

Will Slim
Originally from Douglasville, Will has 16 years of experience in the turf care industry. He received his associates in turf grass sciences at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and his bachelor’s in business administration at Georgia Southern.

Lance Cantrell
Lance has worked at Indian Hills Country Club for fifteen years and has over 30 years of experience in the golf industry. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Marketing and was a member of the 1990 University of Georgia Football team. He is a Class A Member of the PGA of America.

Karter Mills
Originally from Archie, Missouri, Karter has 10 years of experience in the golf industry and just came to us from Kansas City, MO. Karter and his family are new to the Atlanta area and are excited to explore the city. He is a Class A Member of the PGA of America. He graduated from Missouri State University with a dual degree in Criminology & Sociology. Karter's loves to teach weight transfer and pivoting, so call him to book your next lesson!

Jonathan Ellard
Jonathan joined Indian Hills in 2007. He worked in the golf department for 8 years while he finished high school and earned his degree in Business Management at Kennesaw State University. In 2015, he stepped into the role of Assistant Golf Professional where he has continued to obtain the knowledge and skill sets needed to thrive in the golf industry.

MJ joined Indian Hills in 2019 bringing with her 15 years of coaching and teaching experience. In 2004, she graduated from The University of Tennessee where she played on the Lady Vol golf team and received a degree in Sociology.
